About Navigator

Navigator is an open, free reference for how the world’s greatest people and companies think, build, and decide. The tagline says it plainly: learn from the greats.

What it is

A connected encyclopedia of deep, structured profiles — people, businesses, mental models, decision tools, business models, frameworks and moats — all cross-linked so you can move from a person to the models they used, to the businesses that ran them, to the advantages that protected them.

Why it exists

Most reference sites give you a paragraph. Navigator gives you the whole story and the playbook beneath it: the narrative, the numbers, the principles you can actually apply. Every page is built to the same depth and standard.

How to use it

Read a profile, follow the links to the ideas behind it, and apply them with the tools and frameworks. Or start with a Learning Path that sequences the material for you.

Principles

Free to read. No login. No ads. No paywall. Depth over breadth, and honesty over hagiography — the profiles include the failures and the stains, not just the triumphs.
